I try really hard to enjoy life, have a great time, and focus on the right things.

I have learned that almost nothing really matters except for your faith and your family. If you get those two things wrong, then life can be very sad. But if you get them right, life can be so rewarding.

I have created my company in such a way that allows me to provide high-quality services (often better), like you would find anywhere else from another professional services provider, while being able to work from home and spend as much time as I can with my family. We are very lean, very efficient, and very effective.

I am married to my beautiful and lovely wife, and have 7 terrific kids. We live on a ranch with animals and livestock.

I love to fix things, whether it's somebody's technology stack, or DIY projects, or a car engine. Playing outside with my kids is one of my favorite things to do.

Prior to Hans and Company, I founded and ran three other businesses, including Ethical VC (a venture capital fund), Coding AZ (a nonprofit), and ThoroughTest (a professional certification company). I have also served on the Board for companies such as PassRight and RateMyInvestor. Before that, I started his career by working for companies such as Fidelity Investments, State Farm Insurance, and Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Previously, I had served on the Board of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, helping to foster trade between Sweden and the United States. I was also an advisor to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Human Coalition.

Academic schooling includes a BA in Psychology from San Jose State University, an MA in Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and MBA from Liberty University, and Executive Education from Stanford University.

Professional accomplishments include 20 certifications, more than 85 published articles, and associations with the Change Management Association, Agile Alliance, International Institute of Business Analysis, Project Management Institute, and Toastmasters International.
